Connect the free end of the 4" red wire coming from
pin 4 of plug CX to socket CY lug 1 1 (S-1).

Connect the other six wires coming from grommet BC
to the pins of plug CX as follows. Solder each wire to
the tip of its pin:
Bue top� Red to pin 3
Violet to pi n 5 Red to pin 2
Red to pin 1 1 Red to pin 1

nnect the brown wire coming from grommet BD to
hono socket CH lug 1 (S-1).
Connect the gray wire coming from grommet BA to
socket CY lug 3 ( S- 1 ) .

( S- 1 , and the shielded wires to lug 2 (S-1).
Connect the white-yellow wire coming from grommet
BD to phor :ket

lug 1 ( s- 1 ) .
Co t a 1-1/2 bare wire from socket CY lug 6 (S-1
solder lug DR (NS).
Cut off excess lead lengths at the tip of each pin.
Inspect the outside of each pin for the presence of
solder. If you find any, shave it off with a sharp knife
so the pins can enter the power cable socket without
interference.
Connect the red wire coming from grommet
socket CY lug 7 (S-1).
Connect the two shielded cables coming from grommet BA

follows. Use 5/8" of small sleeving on the shield wire of
ach cable.
) Cent conductor of cable 3 to phone socket CK lug 1
( e shield wires to lug 2 (S-1).
Cut a 3" orange stranded wire. Remove 3/8" of
insulation from each end. Melt a minimum amount of
�e;n each bare end to hold the fine strands
( .-(' Connect one end of Ibis wire to solder lug DR (S-2).
The other end will be connected later.

Tug gently on each wire to make sure it is well
soldered.

( Refer to Detail 12-258 and just below the insulation,
wrap one end of the 4" red wire around the orange
stranded wire coming from grommet C (S-1).
�e end of the orange stranded wire into pin 4 of
plug CX until the wire emerges from the end of the
pin and the end of the wire insulation is covered by
the plug. Refer to Detail 12-25C and solder the wire to
the plug tip.
