Install six 16-pin IC sockets at
IC151-1C156. Make sure all the pins
are in their holes and that the body
of each socket is flat against the
circuit board. Solder all the pins of
each socket to the foil as you install
it.
NOTE: Both 14-pin and 16-pin duat-in­
line IC's and sockets are used in this kit
Be very careful when you install the
sockets, as it is possible to accidentally
place a 14-pin socket in a 16-pin socket
location.
If the 16-pin IC sockets furnished are of
two different sizes, use the smaller 16-pin
sockets on this circuit board.
Insert the socket pins into the hotes, The
halt-moon mark on the circuit board
should still be visible after it is installed.
Solder the pins to the fotl. �

Solder the leads to the foil and cut
off the excess lead lengths.
NOTE: This circuit board has foil on both
sides. As
with the other circuit boards, the
"foil side" referred to on these pages is the
side WITHOUT the printed component
outlines. Solder ONLY to this side of this
circuit board.
Position the display circuit board
(#85-1416-1) as shown.
