(Long) The printer will display
PAPER WIDTH: (L)
and measure the size of the page. The measured size
will be shown in the display. Then the printer will
display:
PLACE PIECE ON BELT TO MEASURE HEIGHT
The printer will measure the paper height as described
above. The printer will show the measured material
height
PAPER HEIGHT:
(L)
The
(L)
indicates that the
measured page size will be locked in the printer, so
that the page size cannot be changed from a PC
program.

measurement of the print media, on page 39 for
further information.
Arrow down (Clean Heads)
The printer will show you the area in which it will
perform the clean heads. For example
PrintArea 103
– 197 mm
. The print area depends on the currently set
paper offset and the currently set position of the print
units. Make sure that your material covers the
displayed print area, to avoid staining the belt with
ink.
The printer will ask you from which source you want
to supply material for the test print. You have to
choose between
Manual
and
Feeder
.
The printer will feed one page and print a pattern of
bars, using the currently set page size.

cartridge, on page 118 for a detailed cleaning
description.
Arrow left (Run Paper) .
(Short) The printer will display
PapRUN
and feed one
page and transport it, using the current printer setting
(e.g. transport speed).
(Long) The printer will display
PapRUN
and feed and
transport pages continuously, using the current
printer setting (e.g. transport speed). To stop hit the
Cancel (Offline)
key.
This is an useful function to check if, the separation
and the material transport of the printer, are setup
correctly.
