Hydraulic failure
Hoses
Immediately stop work if a hydraulic hose bursts or deforms during operation, carefully remove the raised load
and secure the device to prevent unauthorised use.
The defect must be fixed by a trained service technician before work with the equipment can be continued.
Collect any escaping hydraulic oil in suitable containers, and absorb hydraulic oil that has already leaked out
with suitable binding agents.
Superiors must be informed immediately about the type and quantity of the escaped liquids.
Porosities, leaks
Stop work and relieve the load on all hydraulic circuits, if leaks of the hydraulic system are observed during
operation. Secure the lift table to prevent unauthorised use. The repair must only be carried out by trained
service technicians.
Damage
If any damage occurs during operation and makes it impossible to continue work safely, work must be stopped
and the defect must be corrected.
The correction of small defects, such as for example the replacement of fuses, can quickly be carried out on-site
if the appropriate spare part is available, but must only be performed by a trained service technician. Please
note that the equipment must be switched off to do so.
The equipment must be switched off and the emergency stop button must be pressed prior to any work on
electrical components. Then, disconnect the equipment from the power supply.
Warning
Never work on equipment which may be connected to a power
supply. Make sure that the power supply of the equipment is
unplugged and secured against accidental switch-on, prior to
any work taking place.
Instruction
Under no circumstances should work be carried
out on the hydraulic system as long as any
pressure remains in the hydraulic lines. Non-
compliance can cause serious accidents.
Warning
Never work on lines that are under pressure.
