Carry out a test run
Requirements
– Read chapter ‘Safety’ from page EN-4
and all the safety notices.
– The transport safety devices have been
removed and the appliance has been pre-
pared as described in chapter ‘Set-up and
connection’ on page EN-30.
– The water inlet hose and water drain
hose have been properly fixed in place.
Any residual water or water drops pres-
ent in the machine are merely a sign
that the appliance was tested for functionality
during production.
The appliance requires an initial wash cycle
without laundry, but with detergent. The aim
of this is to rinse out possible residues from
production.
1. Check whether the water inlet hose (b)
and water drain hose (14) are securely
connected.
2. Open the tap completely.
3. Make sure that the drum is empty.
4. Push the appliance door tightly closed.
5. Dispense a maximum of 25 ml of com-
pact detergent into dispensing drawer II.
6. Set the cycle selector (2) to the cycle
‘ECO 40–60’.
7. Press the button (9).
8. The wash cycle begins. The display
shows the remaining cycle time, as well
as the progress of the wash cycle. After
the cycle has finished, ‘End’ will appear
on the display.
9. Wait until the locking time is over and
the appliance door will be released with
a click. Open the appliance door and pull
the dispensing drawer out slightly so that
the washing machine can dry off inside.
10. Press the button (8) to switch the ap-
pliance off.
11. Disconnect the mains plug from the
socket.
12. Close the tap.
Start-up is now finished.
