Fixing to an appliance connecting
nozzle
Have a specialist carry out the process of fix-
ing to an appliance connecting nozzle directly
on the siphon.
An unused appliance connecting noz-
zle contains a washer to prevent water
fl
owing out. This washer must be replaced
by a seal ring before connecting the water
drain hose.
Creating a water inlet

Improper handling of the appliance
may result in damage.

Only use the hose delivered with the
appliance to connect to the water
supply. Never use old hoses.
■
ATTENTION: Do not connect the ap-
pliance to the hot water supply.
■
Only connect the appliance to a wa-
ter supply with an inlet water pres-
sure between 0.05 MPa and 1.0 MPa
(0.5 to 10.0 bar). For higher water
pressure, a pressure regulator needs
to be installed. Enquire about the wa-
ter pressure with the water authority.

Do not use a pipe wrench to screw
down the union nuts on the tap. This
can damage the union nuts.
For the water supply, you will need a tap with
a 3/4 inch screw connection.

1. Screw and tighten the water inlet hose (b)
onto the connecting nozzles (13) by hand.
To do so, turn the union nut (40) clock-
wise.

2. Secure the other end of the water inlet
hose to the tap by hand. To do so, turn
the union nut (41) clockwise.
3. Open the tap completely and check
whether the connections on the appliance
and on the tap are sealed.
4. Then close the tap again.
