Cooking zones/areas and sensors
Keep warm function
You can gently keep cooked meals warm with
the heat-retaining function.
1. Select the cooking zone/area on which
you would like to activate the heat-retain-
ing function.
The heat setting display flashes.

2. Touch the sensor (14).
“
u
” appears on the heat setting display of
the selected cooking zone/area.
3. To switch off the heat-retaining function
once again, touch the corresponding sen-
sor for the cooking zones/areas and use
the slider sensor to set the desired heat
setting (to switch off: heat setting “0”).

The appliance and its accessible parts
become hot during use.

After using the hob element, it should
be switched off using the regulating
and/or controlling devices. Do not
rely on the pan detector. Never do
this by removing the cookware from
the cooking zone/area. Otherwise,
the cooking zone/area will be reacti-
vated as soon as a pot or other ob-
ject made of ferromagnetic metal is
placed on it.

Metallic objects such as knives, forks,
spoons and lids should not be placed
on the hob surface since they can get
hot.
1. Touch the sensor of the cooking zone/
area that you would like to switch off.
2. Touch the slider sensor (12) at the left
end or swipe your finger left over the slid-
er sensor until the heat setting display “0”
appears.
After a few seconds the heat setting dis-
play changes to “
H
” or “– –”.
