4. Lifting, fastening and towing
4.1 Lifting
Before lifting, confirm:

Transport vehicles must be parked on level ground and fixed securely to prevent them from
moving.
★
Ensure the platform is lowered to the bottom, the extensible platform is retracted and the left

and right
-
side doors on the chassis are closed.
★
Remove all loose parts from the machine.
★
Prevent the guardrail from falling when folding it. Always hold the guardrail firmly when folding
it. After folding, the guardrail should be fixed firmly to prevent moving
while lifting the platform.
★
Ensure that the vehicle capacity, loading surface, belts or ropes are strong enough to carry the
machine (see the section “Specifications”).
★
When using a forklift or crane to lift the machine, please use good judgment and planning to
control the machine movement.
Lifting with a crane
★
The lifting slings can only be fastened to the designated tie
-
down point of the machine.
★
Adjust the lifting slings based on the center of gravity of the vehicle to avoid any damage to the
machine and keep it level.
Forklift requirements
★
Use forklift notches on both sides of the ladder.
★
Align the forks with the forklift notches.
★
Drive the forklift forward until the forks are fully inserted.
★
Lift the machine by 0.4m, and then tilt the forks back slightly to hold the machine securely.
★
Make sure the machine is level when lowering the forks.
