The back edge of the thread guide plate
should be about 2.7mm (the smallest step of
the step gauge # QM39401) from the center needle position.
3. If you need to adjust the thread guide plate
loosen the small black Philip's head screw
and the larger Philip's head screw to the right of it
. Move the thread guide plate into the
correct position and tighten both screws.
