FEED DOG HEIGHT
1. Turn the stitch length dial to 6
(all the way counterclockwise)
and turn the hand
wheel to bring the feed dogs to their highest position. When the feed dogs are at their
highest position they should be about .8
– 1.0mm above the plate
(you should just be
able to see the full tooth above the needle plate and no more).
Use the small
#202007308 feed A/B feed dog height gauge. When A is up the gauge should move
and when B is up it should not.
2. If they are not the correct height, to make the
adjustment, locate the hex screw in the feed link arm
and loosen it with a 2.5 hex tool. Take a flat head
screw driver and turn the eccentric pin to the right if
the feed dogs are too low and to the left if they are too
high. Then tighten the screw.
