IMPORTANT: The remote control system supplied with this appliance has
severaloptionsforstarting/operatingtheapplianceusingthepowerbutton
andON/OFFkeyonthehandheldtransmitter.
Priortooperatingthisappliance,pleasereadtheremotecontroloperating
instructions(packagedwithremotecontrol)tounderstandhowtooperate
thisremotecontrolsystem.
1.EnsuretheMainswitchisintheONposition.
2.PressandreleasetheON/OFFbuttonontheremotehandheldtransmitter
(seeDiagram2).AnaudiblebeepshouldbeheardfromtheIFC.
Note:Thefirsttryforignitionwilllastapproximately60seconds.Ifthereisno
flameignition(rectification)theboardwillstopsparkingforapproximately
35seconds.Afterwaittime,theboardwillstartsecondtryforignitionby
sparkingforapproximately60seconds.Ifthereisstillnopositiveignition
theboardwillgointolockout.
Thesystemwillneedtoberesetasfollows:
a)Wait5minutes-turnthesystemoffbypressingtheON/OFFbuttonon
theremote.
b)Afterapproximately2secondsturnonON/OFFswitchorpressON/OFF
buttonifusingoptionalremote.
c)Repeatstep2.
SHUTDOWN PROCEDURE
1. PresstheON/OFFbuttonontheremote
2. Ifserviceistobeperformed-youmustdisconnectpowerandshutoffgas
totheunit.
3.Afterapproximately4secondsthesparkignitionsystemwillsparkfor60
secondstolightthepilot.
4.Theunitwillturnon.
LIGHTING PROCEDURE
Fan Operation:
Theoptionalfancanbeoperatedbyusingtheremotecontrolsuppliedwith
thisunit.Seeremotecontrolinstructions.
Note:
In thermostat mode:Whentheapplianceisturnedon,thefanwillnotcome
onforthefirst5minutes(iffanisturnedon).Whentheapplianceisturnedoff
thefanwillnotturnofffor12minutes(ifinonposition)
Manual mode: Fanwillturnonandoffimmediatelyusingtheremotecontrol
transmitterifthefanfunctionisinthe"on"position.
