FAN MAINTENANCE
Ifyourfanrequiresmaintenanceorreplacement,
accesstothefanisthroughtherearaccesspanel
onthebackoftheunit.
IMPORTANT: These fans collect a lot of dust from
within your home. Ensure you maintain these
fan motors on a regular basis by vacuuming
out the fan squirrel cages, around the motor,
and around the grills on the back of the stove.

GENERAL VENT
MAINTENANCE
Conductaninspectionoftheventingsystemsemi-
annually.Recommendedareastoinspectasfollows:
1) ChecktheVentingSystemforcorrosioninareas
thatareexposedtotheelements.Thesewill
appearasrustspotsorstreaks,andinextreme
cases, holes. These components should be
replacedimmediately.
2) RemovetheCap,andshineaflashlightdown
theVent.Removeanybirdnests,orotherforeign
material.
3) Checkforevidencesofexcessivecondensa-
tion,suchaswaterdropletsformingintheinner
liner,andsubsequentlydrippingoutthejoints,
Continuouscondensationcancausecorrosion
of caps, pipe, and fittings. It may be caused
by having excessive lateral runs, too many
elbows, and exterior portions of the system
beingexposedtocoldweather.
4) Inspectjoints,toverifythatnopipesectionsor
fittingshavebeendisturbed,andconsequently
loosened.Alsocheckmechanicalsupportssuch
asWallStraps,orplumbers'tapeforrigidity.
LOG REPLACEMENT
Theunitshouldneverbeusedwithbrokenlogs.Turn
offthegasvalveandallowtheunittocoolbefore
openingdoortocarefullyremovethelogs.Thepilot
lightgeneratesenoughheattoburnsomeone.If
foranyreasonalogshouldneedreplacement,you
mustusetheproperreplacementlog.Theposition
of these logs must be as shown in the diagram
underLogInstallation.
Note: Improper positioning of logs may create
carbon build-up and will alter the unit’s
performance which is not covered under
warranty.

receptacle. Do not cut or remove the
grounding prong from this plug.
1.Turnoffstoveandallowtoreturntoroomtem-
perature.
2.Liftoffcasttopandplaceonasoftsurface.
4. Slidethelightassemblybracketoutoftheway.
5. Lift both latches securing glass door and re-
movedoor.
6. Toreinstall–reversesteps.
3.Remove2boltsandliftoffcastfront-placefront
carefullyonasoftsurface.
GLASS REPLACEMENT
