MONO SYNTH Voice Section
The MONO SYNTH Voice Section is a monophonic synthesizer utilizing physical modeling to
create the sounds and effects of classic analog synthesizers. The front panel controls allow
you to control a number of individual Oscillator Types as well as timed characteristics such
as LFO and Envelope Generators for Pitch/Filter and Amplitude. There is also an EDIT button
for accessing editable Parameters quickly and a separate Volume control. This is explained
more fully in the MONO SYNTH VOICE SECTION chapter of this Guide starting on page 322.

t
FAVORITES Section
Your SKX PRO contains a large number of different types of sounds and a large number of
ways to customize and tailor those sounds. Each Voice Section has sounds and Parameters
which together constitute a Patch. Patches from the different Voice Sections are combined to
produce Combinations. The FAVORITES Section allows you to access Combinations quickly
during performance. This is explained more fully in the COMBINATIONS / PATCHES /
BUNDLES / FAVORITES chapter of this Guide starting on page 129.

ALLOCATE Section
These buttons allow you to assign the Sections to each Keyboard. In normal (single-manual)
operation you simply press each button to turn the associated Voice Section “ON” or “OFF.”
A red LED will light when the Section is “ON.” However, because the SKX PRO Keyboard can
be SPLIT and the instrument can also interface with a second MIDI Keyboard as well as a set
of MIDI Bass Pedals, the ALLOCATE button section has been set up so you can easily assign
Voice Sections to the LOWER and PEDAL Parts. This is explained in more detail in the
ALLOCATING VOICES chapter of this Guide starting on page 42.

INFORMATION CENTER DISPLAY
You can customize your SKX PRO in a large number of different ways. The Information
Center Display allows you to see and edit the Parameters associated with each portion of the
instrument. The group of buttons to the right of the display screen allow you to navigate
through the various Parameters as well as adjust the values of each Parameter. The different
Menus shown in the Information Center Display are explained in detail in the INFORMATION
CENTER DISPLAY chapter of this Guide starting on page 18
