Warning signs and signals
The micro cleaner is supplied with a manufacturer’s identification plate as well as symbols (labels) which
warn against possible risks.

General safety precautions
READ FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY: WRONG APPLICATION CAN CAUSE HARM TO OPERATOR,
OTHER PERSONS, ANIMALS AND PROPERTY. EMM WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE
CAUSED AS A RESULT OF FAILING TO COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING ACCIDENT PREVENTION
DIRECTIVES.
EMM WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE TO THE MICRO CLEANER CAUSED AS A RESULT OF
MISUSE AND/OR ADAPTATIONS WITHOUT PERMISSION OF THE SUPPLIER.
Protective clothing
The operator should wear solvent resistant protective gloves to prevent hands coming in contact
with the cleaning agent.
The operator should always wear safety goggles to prevent possible
Splashes reaching the eyes.
The operator should wear a protective respirator/mask against hazardous
vapours.
Ecology and pollution
The micro cleaner may not be used for cleaning or degreasing parts which come into contact with
foodstuffs.
Rules for safe operating
The HR 1000 RVS has been constructed exclusively for cleaning putty knives and small parts e.g measuring
rods and stirring paddles which have come in contact with paint or paint products.
The micro cleaner may only be operated by competent authorized persons without health problems.
It is absolutely prohibited to bore holes or scrape the steel housing with metal objects as this can
cause sparks.
It is prohibited to process red hot materials or to use an open flame and welding apparatus in the
area where the micro cleaner is installed.
It is recommended to use the
HR 1000 cleaning agent
which has specially been developed for
this system. If the
HR 1000 cleaning agent
is not used then use only registered cleaning agents
approved by local legislation.
It is absolutely prohibited to use fluorine-carbon containing solvents e.g. trichloroethene, methyl
chloride, or other substances on halogen hydrocarbon basis.
Before starting it is essential to check whether the solvent is not corrosive.
Recommendation:
HR 1000 cleaning agent.
The moment signs of corrosion appear on the hose or work top, immediately stop cleaning and
replace the solvent!
If eyes or skin come into contact with the cleaning agent, immediately rinse the area concerned with
clean running water.
Before operating the micro cleaner inspect the protection/safety facilities.
