Regularly clean the work top and the air/vapour channel.
Regularly check the level of cleaning agent in the tank in order to obtain the best cleaning results.
The tank can contain a max. of 7 litres cleaning agent.
Regularly clean the filter of the suction hose which is situated in the cleaning agent tank.
If the apparatus remains unused for a few months, the inside and the hose must be rinsed twice
with cleaning agent.
If the parts do not get properly cleaned, check and clean the brush in the micro cleaner.
To prevent extra pollution in the tank, spray guns, lids and cups must not be cleaned in this micro
cleaner.
The following measures must be taken in the area where the micro cleaner is installed before
starting up the machine.
Suitable fire extinguishers should be placed taking into consideration the circumstances under which
they are to be used – this includes portable extinguishers. This apparatus must be kept in good
condition and be inspected by an authorised person every 6 months.
The area of installation must be set up to enable persons to flee dangerous situations easily and
quickly.
For fire extinguishing, directives of the local fire department should be consulted.
Safe maintenance
To guarantee safe maintenance of the micro cleaner the following directives should be followed :
Disconnect the compressed air supply during repair and maintenance jobs.
Regularly inspect the functioning of protective/safety facilities.
It is prohibited to remove or tamper with safety facilities.
Maintenance may only be carried out by qualified persons and in compliance
to the directives of this manual.
The attached symbols/labels provide clear instructions for preventing accidents.
These symbols must be kept clean - if they become damaged they must be replaced immediately.
If any one symbol is missing from the place assigned by the manufacturer, it is prohibited to use the
micro cleaner
Only original spare parts may be used during repair jobs.
Check whether the installation is sufficiently earthed.
Despatch and unloading
The micro cleaner is supplied in a carton box marked “fragile” and is light enough to be relocated by one
person.
Initial inspection
Check if the micro cleaner has not been damaged during transport.
It should be installed on level background/ wall in a well ventilated area away from electrical switches,
sources of heat and sparks. Check the supplied accessories.
Warning: The following installation, adjustment and trial running may only be done by
qualified responsible persons who will guarantee that the job is done according to the safety
instructions in the field of mechanical and pneumatic engineering.
Inspection during initial utilization
When installing the micro cleaner the technical equipment in the working area must be checked and, if
necessary adjusted. The compressed air supply should have an operating pressure of min. 3 bar.
N.B. the max air pressure must be limited to 4 bar. If the safety gauge is adjusted at a higher
pressure, a pressure regulator/filter unit with manometer must be installed on the compressed
air equipment and adjusted to max. 5 bar.
