5.1
Location
It is important to choose a unique location name for each hydroSpider so that you can easily identify
it down the track. The location name is also used by the hydroSpider when sending alarm alerts and
reports.
There is also a
long location name
, which is used if additional information is required to describe the
location of the hydroSpider.
To set the hydroSpider’s location, click the
Location
link on the
Change Setup
page. This will bring
you to the Change Location page, shown below:
From here, you can enter a location name for this particular hydroSpider. The name can be up to 16
characters long. In the screenshot above, the location name was set to “hydroSpider Demo”.
Click the
Save
button to save your changes to the hydroSpider’s configuration, or click
Cancel
to
return to the
Change Setup
page without saving any of the changes.
