After finishing work
1. Drive to a suitable service or parking
area.
An appropriate service and
parking area must have a solid
floor, have a roof and ensure
that no hazardous substances
(e.g. oils, battery acid, cleaning
agents, etc.) can get onto the
floor or in the sewage system.
2. Stop the vehicle and switch it off.
Before getting out of the vehi-
cle apply the parking brake,
switch off the key switch and
remove the key.
3. Empty and clean the waste contain-
er, refer to Section 5.7.1.
4. Empty the recovery tank and rinse it
out, refer to Sections 5.6.1 and 5.6.2.
Observe the applicable laws
and local regulations when dis-
posing of cleaning agents.
5. Check the solution filter, refer to
Section 5.5.4.
6. Check the sealing strips and suction
hose, refer to Section 5.8.
7. Check the electrical equipment,
functions and settings.
8. Clean the vehicle, refer to
Section 5.11.
It is not permitted to clean the
vehicle with a pressure washer
or steam blaster.
9. Charge the batteries, refer to Section
5.4.1.
The seat console must remain
open during the charging proc-
ess (otherwise there is a risk of
oxyhydrogen developing).
If the vehicle is to be shutdown
for a longer period, the solution
tank must be emptied.
