DCX
22 Operating Instruction
The data is scaled by parameter 3Ax12.
In the standard 100% corresponds to the value 20480dez. This corresponds to the hexadecimal value of 0x5000.
The negative numbers are scaled accordingly.
Only the special representation in two's complements has to be kept in mind.
In the standard -100 % corresponds to
- the decimal description with the sign to the value of -20480,
- as value without sign to 45056 (65536 {2
16
} - 20480) and
- in the hexadecimal representation to the value 0xB000 (0x10000 - 0x5000)).
In fieldbus systems in which the field devices have to be assigned to a slave address, this setting is selected
by parameter 71001 in Level 7 (see chapter 6.4.). By default, the address is 111. An assignment of the slave
address is also possible via the master. For this purpose the parameter value in the DCX must be set to 126.
For Ethernet-based network systems, the IP address is assigned through the DHCP server (DHCP mode).
The above examples refer mainly to the Profibus. With other fieldbus or
Ethernet types one should proceed equivalently.

By default, only the "Input 1 Word" modules, the number of processing
"analog" Anybus outputs (of the DCX), are allowed to be inserted.

If the parameters 41x00, 4Ax01 or 71011 are
changed, the device must be restarted for the
changed number of modules in the network
to take effect.
