2. SATFETy inSTRuCTiOnS
where to use this winch
The car body hoist is used for lifting vehicle bodies as well as for sup-
porting containers and swap bodies and the cable reel jack is used for
lifting and supporting heavy cable drums.
– Operate the equipment in accordance with the information in these
operating instructions.
– When lifting/supporting loads, apply only compressive loads.
– Only use when in perfect working order.
– Only allow to be operated by personnel instructed on how to do so.
Safety-conscious work
– First read the operating instructions.
– Always be conscious of safety and hazards when working.
– Ensure stability.
– Observe lifting device and load during all movements.
– Immediately report any damage or defects to the person in charge.
– Repair equipment first before continuing work!
Do not
– Overload (–> technical data, type plate, payload plate)
– Machine drive.
– Impacts, blows.
– carriage persons.
– People are not allowed to stand neither in, nor on, nor under the
raised load without additional support.
– Stay on, under or in the movement area of the container and the car
body hoist.

– Do not use if the load bearing capacity of the substrate is insufficient
(load capacity ≥ 25 N/cm

).
– Not suitable for permanent operation and vibration stress.
– Not approved for use as builders’ hoist (DGUV-R 100-500-2.30).
– Not approved for use in explosive areas/environments.
– Not suitable for aggressive environments.
– Not suitable for tropical environments.
– Not suitable for lifting hazardous loads.
Organisational measures
– Keep the installation area free of obstacles.
– Ensure that these operating instructions are always at hand.
– Ensure that only trained personnel work with the equipment .
– Check at regular intervals whether it is being used in a safety and hazard
conscious manner.
– Store clean, dry and protected.
– Use only under normal lighting conditions!

5. GEnERAl
The car body hoist is designed for raising car bodies and for supporting
containers and interchangeable truck bodies.
Area of application:
In vehicle workshops, haulage companies and vehicle operations.
The cable drum winch is used for lifting and supporting heavy cable
drums.
Area of application: In cable production, on construction sites.
Load is supported by the load-bearing surface of the head plate or by
the adjustable lifting claw.
The self-locking trapezoidal spindles and maintenance-free bevel gears
ensure that it is easy and safe to use.
The both versions complies with Accident Prevention Regulation
DGUV-V 54.
