5. Assemble the ribs and cappings and spars to form the fin, see step
6 before commencing.
6. Cut 6 1mm slots (3 each side) at the tips and in the middle of the fin
leading edge at the angles shown. When satisfied with the fit then
glue the leading edge into place.
7. When the fin assembly glue has dried sand the leading edge to the shape shown on the plan. Drill 3 holes in the rudder post and leading edge of
the rudder to accept the supplied pin hinges. Check the fit and that the rudder moves freely and glue the hinges into place. Note: You may wish
to glue the pin hinges in place after the model has been covered and the tail wheel/skid has been installed.
