E. Fin and Rudder Assembly.
1. Trim to length and sand the 8x14x300mm according to the shape on
the plan. Use a round file to form a notch on the tip to accomodate
the 4mm stainless steel tube as shown.
2. Glue all the rudder ribs to the spar as shown on the plan. Add the
1mm capping strips to both sides of each rib.
3. Bend the 4mm stainless steel tube to form the rudder trailing edge to
the shape shown on the plan. Glue the tube between the capping strips
as shown in the pictures. When the glue has set trim of any excess on
the capping strips and sand smooth to the stainless steel tube.
4. Glue the control horn mounting block in the position shown on the
plan and hold in place with clamps as the glue dries.
