Overview

Activate Remote
control mode
GDM-8200 series automatically switches to the Remote
control mode as soon as it detects the interface
connection; USB, RS-232C, or GPIB.
Return to Local
control mode
In order to switch back to the
Local control mode (front panel
operation), press the LOCAL key.

1.
Press the Shift key, the 2ND
(Menu) key, the Left key twice.
The I/O configuration menu
appears.
2.
Press the Down key. The USB
selection display appears.
3.
Press the ENTER key to
confirm USB selection.

Configuration step
1.
Press the Shift key, the 2ND
(Menu) key, the Right key
twice. The I/O configuration
menu appears.
2.
Press the Down key, then the
Right key. The RS-232C
selection display appears.
3.
Press the Down key repeatedly
to select the baud rate.

Connect the RS-232C cable to
