4. Assembly

15. Bolt the shield splice plate to complete the connection of the two (2) back shields. Use four (4)
5/16" x 3/4" hex bolts, flat washers and serrated flange nuts. (See Figure 4N.)

16. Repeat Step 8 on Page 18 through Step 11 on Page 20 .
NOTE: Bin sweeps with three (3) or more flight and shield sections use a carrier wheel assembly
after every two (2) sections. The first carrier wheel assembly should be installed after the first
two (2) sections of flight and shield.
17. Repeat Step 8 on Page 18 through Step 15 until all flight and shield sections are assembled.
18. Join the segmented wheel bracket to the reduction wheel drive with two (2) 1/2" x 4-1/2" grade 5 bolts,
flat washers and nylock nuts. (See Figure 4O.)
