12. Align the next section of flight making sure that the Dura-Edge on both flights are as continuous
as possible, the angle between both faces being greater than 90° and less than 180° and
without overlapping.
NOTE: Overlapping the flights or having an angle between the ribbon faces be less than 90° or
greater than 180°, will result in reduced unload capacity.
13. Attach the next flight to the connecting shaft using two (2) 5/8" x 4" grade 8 hex bolts and
stover nuts. (See Figure 4L.)

14. Attach the matching section of back shield to the bearing stand assembly and the previous section
of back shield with two (2) 3/8" x 3" carriage bolts, flat washers and nylock nuts. (See Figure 4M.)
