34. Adjust the position of the bottom motor straps to provide adequate tension on the drive belts.
The belts should allow 1/64" of deflection for every 1" of center distance between the two (2) shafts.
35. Close the front of the belt guard. Attach the front to the back with the two (2) 5/16" x 3/4" hex bolts
and nylock nuts that were previously removed. (See Figure 4Y.)

36. Route the power cord for the motor through the electrical cord support stand top ring and the
3/4" electrical clamp. Leave a small loop of electrical cord between the clamp and the electrical
junction box on the outside of the motor. Tighten the clamp to secure the cord.
