Teletext …
… is a free service provided by the TV stations. It is
delivered with the TV signal, processed by the
recorder, and becomes visible on the screen of the
TV set.
Teletext consists of numerous text pages contain-
ing, for example, news from sports and politics,
stock and share prices, weather reports and much
more.
The teletext offerings as well as the organisation
and layout of the individual pages varies from sta-
tion to station.

Preparation
Switch on the TV set.
Select the programme position for the video recor-
der (AV programme position) on the TV set.

Selecting the TV programme
Select the TV programme whose teletext pages you
wish to see using the
DC
buttons.
The one- or two-digit programme position can also
be selected using the numbered buttons

TOP (Table Of Pages) mode
Various topics, chapters, and individual pages can
be called up from an overview with the press of a
button.
Call up teletext by pressing the
h
button and then
the numbered button

– Teletext page 100 (= teletext overview) appears.
Select the topic by pressing the
Z
C/S (blue)
button
repeatedly.
– The blue info line shows the next topic.
To select the chapter for the desired topic, press
the
Z
(yellow)
button repeatedly.
– The yellow info line shows the next chapter of the
selected topic.
If the selected chapter has several pages, you can
call them up using the
Z
ED/EW (green)
button (back-
wards) or the
Z
VPS (red)
button (forwards).
Teletext pages can also be selected directly using
the numbered buttons
