clock setting
You must set the correct time and date on your DVD/VCR before you make any timed VCR recordings.
Note:
Any timer
recordings may miss the
beginning or end of the
programme/s to be
recorded if the time or
date are set incorrectly.
Your DVD/VCR features a
24-hour clock.
Once set, the time will
show in your unit’s front
panel display when it is in
standby mode.
If your unit is unplugged
from the mains or you
have a power cut, your
DVD/VCR will keep the
correct time and date in
its memory for
approximately 30
minutes. If there is no
power for longer than this,
you must set the correct
time and date again.

Select CLOCK SET
Press vcr then setup/menu on your remote control.
Until the clock is set, your VCR will go straight to
the SYSTEM SETUP menu whenever
SETUP/MENU is pressed.
Press the cursor
or
buttons to highlight
CLOCK SET.
Press enter/select to select CLOCK SET.

Set the DATE
The DAY digit will be flashing. Press the cursor
or
buttons to select the correct date.
The three letters after the date indicate the day of the
week (i.e. MON=Monday).
The day will NOT be correct until the month and
year have been set.

Set the MONTH
Press the cursor
or
buttons to highlight
MONTH (which will then flash).
Press the cursor
or
buttons to select the
correct month (1-12).
For example, select 3 if the month is March, or 10 if the
month is October.

Set the YEAR
Press the cursor
or
buttons to highlight
YEAR (which will then flash).
Press the cursor
or
buttons to select the
correct year.
Once the YEAR is set correctly the DAY of the week near
the top of the screen should be correct.

Set the HOUR
Press the cursor
or
buttons to highlight TIME
(which will then flash).
Press the cursor
or
buttons to select the
correct hour.
Please note that your DVD/VCR clock uses the 24-hour
format.

Set the MINUTES
Press the cursor
button once. The MINUTES will
then begin to flash.
Press the cursor
or
buttons to select the
correct MINUTES. Press enter/select to store your
clock settings.
Press the setup/menu button twice to
remove all on-screen menus.
