13. Fault finding
Installation faults
Check the DIP switch settings:
• Sensor type, switches 1 and 2.
• Raising/falling, switches 3, 4 and 5.
• Communication address, switches 8, 9 and 10.

The AI indicator light is on.
An alarm has been registered.
Press the Reset button for less
than 3 seconds.
The 4-20 mA sensor is defective.
Replace the sensor.
The alarm limit is not correct.
Check the potentiometer.
No alarm when limit has
been passed.
The limit is not set correctly (rising/
falling).
Check switch 3.
The PT indicator light is on.
An alarm has been registered.
Press the Reset button for less
than 3 seconds.
The alarm limit is not correct.
Check the potentiometer.
The Pt1000 sensor is defective.
Replace the sensor.
No alarm when limit has
been passed.
The limit is not set correctly (rising/
falling).
Check switch 4.
The CNT indicator light is on.
An alarm has been registered.
Press the Reset button for less
than 3 seconds.
The alarm limit is not correct.
Check the potentiometer.
The CNT indicator light and
all value lights are on.
The counter has reached its maxi-
mum value.
Press the Reset button for more
than 3 seconds.
The counter is not working.
The counter is set to counting down
(falling).
Set switch 5 to ON (up).
The pump status indicator
light is not on when the pump
is running.
The jumper or the contactor feed-
back wires are not connected cor-
rectly to terminals K1 and K2.
Check the jumper between K1
and K2 or the contactor feed-
back connection.
The alarm relay is open even
when no alarm is shown.
The jumper between P1 and P2 is
missing or incorrectly connected.
Check or connect the jumper.
No alarm reset after fault.
The jumper between R1 and R2 is
missing or incorrectly connected.
Check or connect the jumper.
