8.3 Example 3, application with rising
temperature
The application is controlled by a Pt1000 sensor.
The pump must start when the temperature of for
instance a liquid reaches the minimum level (limit 2)
and stop when the temperature reaches the maxi-
mum level (limit 1).

An alarm limit must be set above the maximum level.
Alarm limit: 100°C
Limit 1: 60°C
Limit 2: 40°C
Alarm limit
The alarm limit must always be set first.
Switch settings:
Switch 1: OFF (down).
Switch 2: ON (up).
Switch 4: ON (up).
Switch 7: OFF (down).
Turn the potentiometer until the indicator light for
100°C illuminates. Wait 5 seconds until the value
has been stored.
Limit 1
Switch settings:
Switch 1: OFF (down).
Switch 2: ON (up).
Switch 4: ON (up).
Switch 7: ON (up).
Turn the potentiometer until the indicator light for
60°C illuminates. Wait 5 seconds until the value has
been stored.
Limit 2
Switch settings:
Switch 1: OFF (down).
Switch 2: ON (up).
Switch 4: OFF (down).
Switch 7: ON (up).
Turn the potentiometer until the indicator light for
40°C illuminates. Wait 5 seconds until the value has
been stored.

temperature
