3. Never touch moving blade and keep hands out of blade path or
“line of cut.”
4. Disconnect power before changing blades or servicing saw.
5. Keep all guards and covers in place during operation.
6. Ensure fence is properly adjusted before operating saw.
7. Hold workpiece firmly against table to maintain control, and never
perform any operation freehand.
8. Never reach around or in back of saw blade while it is moving.
9. Always turn off tool and wait for saw blade to stop moving before
moving workpiece or changing settings.
10. Do not wear loose clothing, gloves, jewelry, or other items that can
get entangled. Tie back long hair and roll up sleeves.
11. Only use blades meeting size/speed requirement for this saw.
12. Securely mount machine to stable workbench or stand before
operating.
13. Know what causes “kickback” and how to prevent it.
14. Never remove jammed/cutoff workpiece when the blade is moving.
15. Plan cuts so workpiece always remains supported.
16. Always return carriage to the full rear position after each crosscut
operation.
17. Do not expose to rain or operate in a wet environment.
18. Prevent unauthorized use by children or untrained users; restrict
access or disable machine when unattended.
