Consider anticipated workpiece sizes and addi-
tional space needed for auxiliary stands, work
tables, or other machinery when establishing a
location for this machine in the shop. See
Figures
9 and 10 for the minimum amount of space need-
ed for the machine.
While tempting and sometimes easier, using the
saw placed on the floor is not recommended due
to the associated hazards of working over the top
of it and having legs, knees, and feet near the
cutting area.
