Disassembly of Outdoor Unit

18K 240 volt unit

Warning - Wait 10 minutes after power is disconnected before starting disassembly

Discharge the refrigerant completely; unsolder the

pipeline connecting the compressor and the con-

denser assembly, and then remove the 4-way valve.

Remove the nuts on the compressor feet and then

remove the compressor.

10. Remove compressor

Remove the four tapping screws attached to the

motor. Pull out the lead wire and remove the motor.

Remove the two tapping screws attached to the mo-

tor support. Lift motor support to remove it.

11. Remove motor and motor support
