Software Upgrade
Introduction
The ATP-2000 Advanced Touch Panel unit is software-upgraded via the GV Orbit Client tool.
To upgrade a device with GV Orbit Client, the Network window must be open and showing
the ATP-2000 device to be upgraded.
(Refer to the GV Orbit Client User Guide for information about the Network window etc. in
GV Orbit Client.)
Steps:
• Step 1: Check Current Software Version , on page 40.
• Step 2: Import Upgrade Package , on page 41.
• Step 3: Upgrade the ATP-2000 , on page 42.
• Step 4: Finally, Check the Upgraded Software Version , on page 42.
Upgrade Package
Upgrade packages for ATP-2000 panels comprise a version of software and supporting files
bundled together in a .zip file and are available from the software download section of the
ATP-2000 web page.
Step 1: Check Current Software Version
1 Open the Network window.
2 Locate the ATP-2000 device to be upgraded, right-click on it and select Info .
A Details window is shown for the device, displaying information which includes the
device’s current version of software.
Note: Before starting, ensure that the upgrade package file is:
• accessible by GV Orbit Client;
• correct for the ATP-2000 product; and is
• the correct version required.
