WARNING! Observe safety regulations when using the hedge
trimmer. For your own and other persons’ safety read this
manual before starting to work with the hedge trimmer. Please
keep this manual for future reference.
•
Keep all body parts away from the blade. Do not attempt to
move processed material or hold it close to working blade.
Remove jammed material only when the tool is switched off.
A moment of inattention when using the hedge trimmer may cause
serious injuries.
•
Hold the electric tool by insulated surfaces on the handle,
because the blade may get in contact with hidden electric
wires.
When the blade touches live wire, voltage may appear on
metal parts and cause electric shock.
•
Hold the device by its gripping area when the blade is not
working. Always put the protection cover on for storage or
carrying.
Careful tool handling reduces risk of injuries resulting
from contact with the blade.

Remove electric wires away from the cutting area.
A wire
may be hidden in the hedge and accidentally be cut.

Preparation
•
When working, always wear sturdy shoes and long trousers.
•
Always use personal protection equipment, such as protective

Before starting the task, carefully check the area where you plan
to work, remove all objects that might cause damage to the cutting
parts of the trimmer.
•
Make sure the hedge trimmer blade is not damaged before each
use.
•
When working hold the garden tool firmly, keep firm body
working position.
•
Do not hold the power tool by its blade bar.
Use

Work only in daylight or in very well illuminated places.
•
Avoid trimming wet hedges.
•
Always make sure you stand firmly on the ground.
•
Do not use the hedge trimmer with damaged shields, body or
without shields.
•
Ensure your limbs are away from cutting parts and switch on the
motor in accordance with instruction manual.
•
Ensure the casing ventilation holes are free from obstructions.
•
Do not keep your hands or feet close to moving parts.
•
Only authorised persons should repair the hedge trimmer.
•
Use only spare parts recommended by the manufacturer.
•
Do not hand the tool over to children or persons who are not
familiar with this manual.
•
Do not work with the tool when there are bystanders close by.
•
Make sure to keep safe distance between blade tip and power
lines of no less than 15 m.
Maintenance and storage
•
Keep all components in good condition to ensure the hedge
trimmer works safely.
•
To keep the operation safe, replace worn out or damaged parts.
•
Protect the hedge trimmer against humidity.
•
Store the tool beyond reach of children and with cutting parts
shield on.
•
Carry out all maintenance tasks in protective gloves and with
battery removed, especially when working close to sharp blades.

Lubricate cutting blades with maintenance oil before each use.

DESIGN AND INTENDED USE
Cordless hedge trimmer is a hand held device. Drive consists of a
DC commutator motor. Described hedge trimmer is designed for
home garden works, such as trimming hedges, bushes and shrubs.
Any other use, that is not allowed in this instruction manual, may
cause damage of the trimmer and constitute serious risk for the
user. The hedge trimmer is designed only for light duty use.
