Read Micro-Ion E Gauge
ON/OFF Status
If you send the ion gauge status (IGS) command, the module returns a
character string that indicates the ON/OFF status of the Micro-Ion E gauge.

Example response from module:
1 IG ON

• The “1 IG ON” response means the Micro-Ion E gauge is ON.
• The “0 IG OFF” response means the Micro-Ion E gauge is OFF and the
module will return a “9.99E+09” error response to the RD (read pressure)
command.
The status LED indicates the operating status of the Micro-Ion E gauge.
• Figure 5-2 illustrates the status LED on the module.
• Table 5-7 lists conditions indicated by the status LED.

• Micro-Ion E gauge fault condition. See page 40 to replace gauge assembly.
• Overpressure shutdown. Decrease pressure to alleviate overpressure condition.
