• The amount of laundry loaded is much lower than that
indicated in the technical data table.
• The steam pressure is too high (for steam heating
models).
ONCE CHECKED AND THESE OPERATIONS ACTIVATED AND THE
FAULT PERSISTS, CALL THE AUTHORISED AFTER-SALES CENTRE
OR ALTERNATIVELY OUR DEALER (SEE THE LAST PAGE OF THE
MANUAL).
10.2 SAFETY DEVICES
• If during execution of the cycle there s a drop in voltage,
on return to the machine it resets and does not start
unless the START button is pressed.
• Sensor that indicates open door and/or filter hatch open
on the display.
• Insufficient extraction signal sensor.
• Flame presence flame, which if not detected stops the
passage of gas (removes supply to the gas electrovalve).
• N.C. circuit breaker calibrated at 150°C positioned inside
the extractor motor that switches the machine off if it
overheats.
• Electronic control by drum motor inverter.
• TS external manual rearm safety thermostat.
• Anomaly signal alarm (see specific alarms chapter).
10.3 PERIODIC MAINTENANCE BY SPECIFIED STAFF
BEFORE ANY MAINTENANCE INTERVENTION REMOVE
VOLTAGE FROM THE MACHINE USING TH MASTER ISOLATING
SWITCH ON THE WALL AND CLOSE THE GAS OR STEAM AND
CONDENSATE GATE VALVES.
Any maintenance operation must be performed by authorised
after-sales centres or by qualified staff. Always pay particular
attention during maintenance
never
to exclude safety devices,
for any reason; use original spare parts and if in doubt consult
our technical dept. communicating the appliance model and
the serial number; both of these can be found on the plate on
the rear.
10.3.1 MONTHLY CHECK
Check all safety devices, therefore:
• Check that the safety thermostat is in good working
order and that it functions correctly, otherwise replace it
immediately. This operation must only be performed by
authorised staff; do-it-yourself is prohibited.
• The gate valves must close the passage of gas or steam
and condensate. To check this, start the machine and
close the gate valves, checking that the gas switches off,
or if steam that the temperature does not rise, checking
the passage of the condensate on the detector.
• The dryer must stop when the emergency button on the
machine is pressed.
• On opening the door the drum must stop.
• On opening the filter hatch the machine must stop.
10.3.2 YEARLY CHECK
• Check tightness of the electric power connection screws
on the remote control switches and input terminal
board.
• Clean the heating resistance fins or of the steam battery
or of the gas burner, without using aggressive chemicals
or detergents.
• Check the safety equipment such as efficient earth and
life-saving device.
• Clean the mist discharge pipe and the central pipe.
RE-POSITION ALL PANELS THAT MAY HAVE BEEN REMOVED
BEFORE APPLYING VOLTAGE TO THE MACHINE USING THE
MASTER ISOLATING SWITCH ON THE WALL OR BEFORE OPENING
THE GAS OR STEAM AND CONDENSATE GATE VALVES.
10.3.3 SEARCH AND ORDERING SPARE PARTS
For the identification of the codes of the spare parts
make a
written request
through the dealer for the parts you require,
specifying description, function of the pieces and plates they
may have, also supply:
• model
• serial number
• appliance functioning voltage and frequency.
