8. DRYER FUNCTIONING
8.1 PREMISE
Check that the gas and steam gate valves (power supply
and condensate exhaust) for the machines with this type of
heating are open.
Switch-over the automatic magnet circuit breaker on the
wall to the ON position. At this point if the door is closed,
the appliance is in stand-by for start to be given using the
relative button (START/STOP) also positioned on the front of
the machine.
8.1.1 COMMISSIONING: PRESSURE SWITCH CALIBRATION
On commissioning of the appliance the pressure switch
zero value MUST be calibrated. This determines cleanliness
of the filter and this MUST be performed with the machine
installed and with clean filter and empty drum.
The sequence of actions to be performed for calibration of the
pressure switch is the following.
With the machine not in cycle and the door open press the START
button 10 times successively in 15 seconds.
The display signals “
Calibration
” followed by “
close door and
press start
” which will alternate until the door is closed, when the
display will remain fixed on “
press start
”.
When the START button is pressed the calibration phase is activated
with drum rotation, as if it were a normal drying function, without
however switching heating on. The display will show “
Calibration
in progress
” and the value read by the pressure switch.
ATTENTION!
• This value is only the fruit of a calculation and has no
reference to the length of the flue or any particularity
of the installation.
• The blocked filter alarm is NOT active during this
procedure.
Calibration lasts for 20 seconds and when the procedure is
finished the display indicates “
Calibration performed
” for 5
seconds, showing the new data on the screen. After which the
display goes back to normal.
ATTENTION!
• No button can be used during calibration. Every alarm
intervention aborts the procedure.
• If the door open status is read during the procedure,
the alarm E2 is activated and calibration must be
carried out again.
8.1.2 CYCLE SELECTION AND START
For the selection operations, cycle start and programming of
the optional parameters, refer to the block diagram shown
