exactly the same as the faulty unit and that all external connections are connected in the same way.
When the new unit is powered up the system will operate as before. Because of internal component
tolerances a new calibration may be required. See Appendix J for the location of the memory chip.
13. User control and system setup
13.1 User control
User control of the ECU unit is limited; no changes to the system setting can be made. The
menu items ‘system overview’, ’buzzer/led test’, 'acknowledge error' and ‘reset error’ can only be
accessed. A password is required to get access to the installation menu items.

13.2 System setup
To change the settings of the system one has to enter a password to get access to the
installation menu of the system. All basic settings of the system can be changed using the
graphic display and navigation buttons. For more advanced settings; use the eXentro installer
software to get access to all system settings. For more information refer to the eXentro ECU
