Attach the furling swivel (knotting it) to
the foresail halyard, and clip the carbine
of the foresails head to the swivel.

Hoist the foresail, and make the foresail-
halyard fast, on the the clamp at the lo-
wer part of the mast.

Feed the jib sheet through the foresail
tack-eye, ensuring two equal end length.

Knot the jib-sheet into position at the
tack-eye.

Lead both ends of the jib-sheet to port
and starboard through the camcleats lo-
cated both side at the bridge-yoke. Se-
cure the ends by figure eight knots.

Clip the main halyard carbine to eye at
the head of the mainsail.

Hoist the main sail by feeding the bolt
rope into the mast track.

There is a clamp on the lower part of the
mast for the main halyard to be made
fast.

►
Feed the luff-downhaul through the main
sails tack-eyelet, tension the luff and jam
the downhaul line into the clamcleat at
the lower section of the mast
