
Safety and Maintenance Tips for Your New Play Set:
NOTE: Your children’s safety is our #1 concern. Observing the
following statements and warnings reduces the likelihood of serious
or fatal injury. Please review these safety rules regularly with your
children.
• This play set is designed for the use of 4 occupants ho ha e a com ined eight not

com ined eight of 1225. This eight does not include any picnic ta le area s .

• Teach children not to al close to in front of ehind or et een mo ing s ings or
other mo ing playground e uipment.
• Teach children to sit in and ne er stand on s ings
• Teach children not to t ist the chains and ropes and not to loop them o er the s ing
eam since this may reduce the strength of the chain or rope.
• Teach children not to ump from s ings or other playground e uipment in motion.
• Teach children not to push empty seats. The seat may hit them and cause serious
in ury.
• Teach children to sit in the center of the s ings ith their full eight on the seats.
• Teach children not to use the e uipment in a manner other than intended.
• Teach children to al ays go do n slides feet rst. Ne er slide head rst.
• Teach children to loo efore they slide to ma e sure no one is at the ottom.
• Teach children to ne er run up a slide as this increases their chances of falling.
• The parents should ha e the children dress appropriately ith ell tting shoes. Loose
clothing such as scar es and ponchos should not e orn. Al ays ta e off tie up or
tuc in cords and dra strings on children s clothing. These things can get caught on
playground e uipment and strangle a child.
• Teach children not to clim hen the e uipment is et.
• Teach children to ne er ump from a fort dec . They should al ays use the ladder
ramp or slide.
• Teach children to ne er cra l or al across the top of mon ey ars or s ing eam.
• Teach children to ne er cra l on top of a fort roof or on the outside of a tu e slide.
• Verify that any suspended clim ing ropes chains or ca les are secured at oth ends
and that they cannot e looped around an adult hand.
• Teach children not to attach items to the playground e uipment that are not speci cally
designed for use ith the e uipment such as ut not limited to ump ropes clothesline
pet leashes ca les and chain as they may cause a strangulation ha ard.
• Teach children to ne er rap their legs around s ing chain.
• Teach children to ne er slide do n the s ing chain.
• Teach children to remo e their i e or other sports helmet efore playing on the
playgound equipment.
• Teach children to NEVER loo at the sun or other right light through any accessory
such as ut not limited to a telescope periscope or inoculars.
WARNING: Children must NOT use this play set until it has been
completely assembled and inspected by an adult to insure it has been
properly installed and the swing beam legs are anchored.
