Playing Audio CDs
Insert an audio CD into the DVD player as described previously with the
label towards the front of the TV. Play will automatically start at the first
track. The track number, total number of tracks and elapsed time will be
displayed.
While the disc is playing you can jump play to another track by entering
its track number using the numerical (0-10+) buttons.
Pausing Play
Press the pause, ( ) button to pause play. will be displayed on the
TV screen.
Press the play ( X ) button to resume normal play from the paused
position. will be briefly displayed when play restarts.
Stopping Play
Press the stop button ( ) to stop play. will be displayed in the top
right of the TV screen and the following text will appear on the left,
‘Press Play Key To Continue’.
Press the play (

) button to resume play. is briefly displayed.
Play will commence from the exact position where the CD was stopped,
unless either the disc has been removed from the player or the stop (
)
button is pressed a second time. If the stop button ( ) is pressed twice,
play restarts from the beginning of the first track.
Fast Search Forward/Reverse
To fast search the contents of a disc during play, press either the fast
forward button (
) to fast forward through the disc or the rewind button,
( ) to search backwards through the disc.
Each press of the ‘fast’ button steps through the five available speeds.
These are x2, x4, x8, x16, x32 normal play speed. After x32 the next
press sets the play speed to normal and
is briefly displayed.
The set speed will be displayed on screen after each press of the button
as
X2, X4, X8, X16 or X32 for fast forward and X2, X4, X8, X16
or X32 for fast backward.
Press the play (
X
) button at any time during fast mode operation to
return to normal playing speed. is briefly displayed on the TV screen.
