To stop play to remove the disc:
Press the stop ( ) button twice. displays on the screen with the
DVD logo page.
Press the play (
X
) button. Play will start from the beginning of the disc.
Fast Forward/Reverse
To fast search the contents of a disc during play, press either the fast
forward button (
) to fast forward through the disc or the rewind button,
( ) to search backwards through the disc.
Each press of the ‘fast’ button steps through the five available speeds.
These are x2, x4, x8, x16, x32 normal play speed. After x32 the next
press sets the play speed to normal and
is briefly displayed.
The set speed will be displayed on screen after each press of the button
as
X2, X4, X8, X16 or X32 for fast forward and X2, X4, X8, X16
or X32 for fast backward.
Press the play (
X
) button at any time during fast mode operation to
return to normal playing speed. is briefly displayed on the TV screen.
Skip to the Next/Previous Chapter
To skip to the next chapter during play, press the skip forward button,
(
) once. Play re-starts at the next chapter each time this button is
pressed.
To skip to the beginning of the current chapter, press the skip
backwards button (
) once.
To skip to the previous chapter, press the skip backwards button ( )
twice. Play re-starts at the beginning of the previous chapter.
When the skip forward button is pressed is displayed and when the
skip backwards button is pressed is displayed.
Slow Motion Playback
During play you can reduce the playback speed in the forwards and
backwards directions.
Repeatedly press the SLOW button to toggle through the four slow
playback speeds; 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 and 1/16. The slow play forwards symbol,
, is displayed.
To return to normal playback speed either press the SLOW button
repeatedly until the play symbol
appears or press the play ( X )
