Description and function
2.1
Product
The product is an HDMI™ matrix for switching between 4x
source devices and 2x output devices. The product also has
a 3.5 mm and a Toslink connector for connecting additional
audio output devices and separate audio playback. The ma-
trix can be controlled via the buttons on the unit or the re-
mote control.

Intended use
This product is intended exclusively for private use
and its intended purpose. This product is not inten-
ded for commercial use. We do not permit using
the device in other ways like described in chapter „Descripti-
on and Function“ or in the „Safety Instructions“. Use the pro-
duct only in dry interior rooms. Not attending to these regu-
lations and safety instructions might cause fatal accidents,
injuries, and damages to persons and property.

Preparation
1. Check the scope of delivery for completeness and in-
tegrity.

Connection and operation
5.1
Connection

Material damage
• Switch off the matrix before connecting or disconnecting
your source and output devices via the sockets.
See Fig. 2.
1. Connect up to four source devices to the HDMI™ so-
ckets (input) (8) of the matrix.
2. Connect up to two output devices to the HDMI™ sockets
(output B&A) (9+10) of the matrix.
To use the ARC function, the HDMI™ output A (10) of the
matrix must be connected to an ARC-compatible HDMI™
socket of the TV.
3. Connect an audio output device (e.g. soundbar) to the
Toslink socket (12).

Optionally, connect another audio output device (e.g. hi-fi
system) to the 3.5 mm jack socket (11).
Connection cables are not included in the delivery. Make
sure that the source and output devices as well as the con-
nection cables support the resolutions and standards of
the product!
5. Connect the USB-A plug (16) of the charging cable to the
USB-A socket (15) of the power supply.
6. Insert the Euro plug (14) of the power supply unit into a
free and easily accessible socket.
7. Connect the DC plug (17) of the charging cable to the
DC socket (13) of the matrix.
8. Disconnect all cable connections after use.
5.2
Operation
• Press the button POWER (1) to switch the matrix on
or off.
• Press the button A (2) or B (3) to switch between the in-
put signals.
• Press the button ARC (6) to switch the ARC function
on or off.
When the ARC function is active, no sound is output to the
TV via the HDMI™ output A (10).
• Press the button 2.1/5.1 (5) to switch between the audio
formats 2.1 and 5.1.

LED status indicators
Designation
Description
The LED lights up red when the matrix is
supplied with power and switched on.
ARC
The LED flashes blue when the ARC
function is active.

The LED lights up blue when the respec-
tive audio format is selected.

1, 2, 3, 4 (B)
The LED lights up blue when the respec-
tive input signal is selected.
6 Remote control
6.1 Activating the remote control
• Pull the contact protector out of the battery compartment.
6.2 Buttons

Press the button to switch the matrix on or off.

Press the button to select the corre-
sponding input signal for output A or B.
• 2.1:
Press the button to select the audio format 2.1.
• 5.1:
Press the button to select the audio format 5.1.

Press the button to switch the ARC function on
or off.
6.3 Changing the battery
Replace the dead battery with a new one of the same type
if necessary.
1. Open the battery compartment by pushing the small le-
ver to the side and then pull out the battery compartment
and remove the empty battery.
2. Place the new battery in the battery compartment with
the positive pole facing upwards and slide the battery
compartment closed again.
3. Dispose of the empty battery properly.

The product is maintenance-free.

• Always disconnect the mains plug before cleaning.
• Only use a dry and soft cloth for cleaning.
• Do not use detergents or chemicals.
• Store the product out the reach of children and in a dry
and dust-protected ambience when not in use.
• Store cool and dry.
• Keep and use the original packaging for transport.

According to the European WEEE directive, electri-
cal and electronic equipment must not be disposed
with consumers waste. Its components must be re-
cycled or disposed apart from each other. Otherwise
contaminative and hazardous substances can da-
mage the health and pollute the environment. As a consu-
mer, you are committed by law to dispose electrical and
electronic devices to the producer, the dealer, or public col-
lecting points at the end of the devices lifetime for free. Par-
ticulars are regulated in national right. The symbol on the
product, in the user manual, or at the packaging alludes to
