14.0 Procedure for checking and replacing the motor drive 

belt 

 

Remove the 6 screws retaining the machine base as shown below: 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Turn the machine over revealing the motor drive belt. Loosen the set screw retaining the idler pulley, as indi-

cated below. The shaft retaining the pulley should now be free to remove, Once removed the belt can easily 

be replaced. Assembly is the reverse of disassembly.
