RESULTS MANAGER
4.5 TEST RESULT STORAGE
The IMS Results Manager software has three (3) functions:
1. To retrieve instrument test results from any GDU net connected
to the network.
2. To send the instrument test results to the IMS database (whilst
archiving onto a PC).
3. The ability for users to select which GDU net ’s to retrieve
results from.
4.5.1 Results Download
The
IMS Results Manager
software connects to GDU net ’s
registered on the server; then looks for instrument test result
files on each GDU net (approximately every 30 seconds).
Any new test files are removed from the GDU net and downloaded
onto a PC (with IMS Re sults Manager installed).
Fig. 4-12 illustrates the ‘Results Download Progress’ tab and
as an example GDU net , GMI02000003, connected and various
instrument test results files downloaded.
