CAUTION
DO NOT REVERSE THE POLARITY: RISK OF SHORT CIRCUIT AND DAMAGE
TO THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM.
Checkingtheelectrolytelevel
The electrolyte level, which should be checked regularly, must always be at the max-
imum level. To top it up to this level,
use only distilled water.
Should it become
necessary to top up the battery with water too frequently, check the scooter's electrical
system because the battery is being overloaded, causing it to lose power quickly.
NEVER DISCONNECT THE BATTERY CABLES WHILE THE ENGINE IS RUN-
NING; THIS CAN CAUSE PERMANENT DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE ELECTRON-
IC CONTROL UNIT.
CAUTION
ELECTROLYTE CONTAINS SULPHURIC ACID: AVOID CONTACT WITH EYES,
SKIN AND CLOTHES. IN CASE OF ACCIDENTAL CONTACT, RINSE WITH ABUN-
DANT WATER AND CONSULT A DOCTOR.
