3.6) Bending procedure

During the bending operation, keep your hands well away from the
moving ram. Risk of crushing.
The bending process must be activated using the bending tool’s control button.
Do not use the control button (1) on-board the pump!
Press the control button (13) on the tool and keep it pressed down until
the motor switches off automatically.
When the motor switches off, release the button (13).
The bending operation is considered finished when the motor switches
off automatically and the tool’s piston has returned to its starting position.
In case of emergency, it is possible immediately interrupt the bending
process at any moment during the cycle by releasing the button (13)
and the tool’s ram will return to its starting position.
The “ERROR” message on the display (along with an audible signal),
indicates that the pump has reached the maximum developed pressure
but it was not possible to obtain the bend angle set on the tool.
Check the correct setting of the bending tool.
At the end of the operation, before disconnecting the hose, check that the ram of the
attached tool is fully retracted.
NOTE: For work needs, it is possible to perform an expansion
cycle without disconnect the cable from the connector (9),
in this case
it is essential to change the operating mode
through the diplay
(Ref. to
§ 4.2
for further details).
