3. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
3.1) Preparation
The pump can be easily carried using either the main handle (12) or the shoulder strap attached
to the two rings (2) (Ref. to Fig. 2).
The pump has an hermetically sealed hydraulic circuit allowing it to operate in any position.
Before starting any work, check the battery charge and recharge it if necessary following
the instructions in the battery charger user manual.
3.2) Functioning
The pump can be connected to hydraulic specific tools produced by
JRG Sanipex MT
to expan-
sion or bending pipe.
Depending on the connected tool, there are two operating modes:
EXPANSION:
takes place automatically, activated via the button (1) on-board the pump and
ends when the motor is switched off and the tool’s ram has returned to its starting posi-
tions.

BENDING:
takes places by holding down the control button on the bending tool down until
the motor is switched off and the tool’s ram has returned to its
starting position.

Default setting of the pump is to perform the expansion cycle. When the bending tool’s
control cable is connected to the connector (9), the pump automatically switch in bending
mode (Ref. to § 4.2 for further details).
3.3) Connecting the expantion tools
(Ref. to Fig. 5)
Before using the pump always check the integrity of the flexible hose and the quick cou-
plers.
Prepare the expansion tool.
Remove the battery from the pump.
Connect the coupler (6) of the flexible hose to the male coupler of the tool.
Ensure that the quick couplers are free of dirt before connecting them.
Insert the battery into the pump
