6.2 Restoring to Factory Default Settings
If for any reason the camera is not responding correctly, you can reset it to its factory default
setting by using the camera’s Web interface or by operating directly on the camera.
6.2.1 Using the Web Interface
1. On the Web interface, go to
System Settings
.
2. In the left menu of Web interface, select
Management
and click
Tools
.
3. Under
the
Device Settings
tab, click
Default
to restore the camera to its factory default
settings, and the current IP address of the camera will be kept.
4. To restore the camera and its IP address to factory default settings, select
Restore all
default setting without keeping current IP address
and click
Default
.
6.2.2 Directly on the Camera
1. Loosen the 3 screws at the rear end of the camera with the supplied torx wrench to reveal
the camera cover. Then loosen the 3 screws on the camera cover to access the default
button.
