6.1.2 Using the GV-IP Device Utility
The IP Device Utility provides another way to upgrade the firmware. Note the computer used
to upgrade firmware must be under the same network as the camera.
1. Download and install the
GV-IP Device Utility
from our
website
.
2. Double-click the
GV-IP Device Utility
icon created on your desktop. The Utility window
appears and automatically searches for the IP devices under the same LAN.

3. If the camera cannot be found by auto search, click the
New
button and assign the IP
address to locate the camera on the Internet.
4. Double-click the camera in the list. This dialog box appears.
